The Patrol Division is the frontline of the Highland County Sheriff's Office, dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our communities. Our deputies are on duty around the clock, responding to emergency calls, conducting traffic enforcement, patrolling neighborhoods, and serving legal documents. Whether it's preventing crime or assisting during an emergency, our Patrol Division is committed to maintaining a visible presence and building strong relationships with the public. Through proactive policing and community engagement, we strive to make Highland County a safer place for everyone.

Lieutenant Craig Seaman

Road Patrol Commander

Lieutenant Seaman began his career with the Highland County Sheriff’s Office in May 2000 as a dispatcher in the Communications Division. He has since worked in the Corrections Division, Road Patrol, where he was promoted to sergeant, and as a K9 handler until 2019. In the eleven years he was a K9 handler, he had two different K9 partners, Jorka and Django. He also serves as the commander of the special response team (SRT). He was promoted to Lieutenant over road patrol in June 2024.
