An investigation was initiated upon the report of a domestic dispute in the 12,000 block of Cameron Drive, Greenfield. This offense remains under investigation. 

At 11:29 PM Thomas Lykins, age 67 of Hillsboro was eastbound on St Rt 124 when a deer ran into his lane of travel causing him to strike the deer. 

May 10, 2008

An investigation was initiated upon the report of an assault in the 5900 block of St Rt 124, Hillsboro. This offense remains under investigation. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a domestic dispute in the 8800 block of West Berrysville Road, Hillsboro. Upon further investigation Stephen Carter Jr., age 23 of Hillsboro, was charged with domestic violence and criminal damaging. 

May 9, 2008

At 9:18 AM Donald Brown Jr., age 39 of New Vienna was eastbound on Line Road when he lost control and went off the left side of the roadway striking a fence. Brown 's 1993 Ford sustained non-functional damage. No injuries were reported. Brown was issued a citation for failure to maintain control. 

At 10:42 PM Teresa Wilmouth, age 29 of Mowrystown was northbound on St Rt 73 when a deer ran into her lane of travel causing her to strike the deer. Wilmouth's 2001 Nissan sustained non-functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

May 8, 2008

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a domestic dispute in the 12,000 block of Monroe Road, Leesburg. Upon further investigation Jeremy Miller, age 28 and Heather Piatt, age 23 of Leesburg were apprehended and charged with domestic violence. 

At 3:02 AM Terry Mick, age 47 of Seaman was northbound on St Rt 73 when a deer ran into his lane of travel causing him to strike the deer. Mick's 1999 Toyota sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of telephone harassment in the 10,000 block of North Union Road, Hillsboro. This offense remains under investigation.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a theft in the 11,000 block of St Rt 506, Hillsboro. This offense remains under investigation. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a domestic dispute in the 12,000 block of Larrick Road, Leesburg. Upon further investigation Jeremy Haggerty, age 27 of Leesburg was apprehended and charged with domestic violence and endangering children.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of threats made to a resident in the 7800 block of Victory Lane, Highland. Upon further investigation Richard Kerns, age 40 of Bainbridge was charged with criminal trespassing and three counts of menacing.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a domestic dispute in the 12,000 block of St Rt 28, Greenfield. Upon further investigation Odis Burgess, age 41 of Greenfield was apprehended and charged with domestic violence. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of an attempted theft on East Water Street, Sinking Spring. This offense remains under investigation. 

At 9:04 AM Yvonne Hoop, age 30 of Hillsboro was northbound on St Rt 73 when a deer ran into her lane of travel causing her to strike the deer. Hoop's 2001 Dodge sustained non-functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued

At 6:20 AM Jeremiah Hill, age 28 of Hillsboro was northbound on Wilkins Road when he lost control and went off the right side of the roadway into the ditch. The 1992 Chevy he was operating sustained non-functional damage. No injuries were reported. Hill was cited for failure to maintain control.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a theft in the 400 block of Wadell Street, Greenfield. This offense remains under investigation. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a person being struck by a vehicle in the 5900 block of Millers Chapel Road, Hillsboro. Upon further investigation Tammy Moore, age 38 of Hillsboro was charged with felonious assault, endangering children and leaving the scene of an injury accident.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of telephone harassment in the 10,000 block of North Shore Drive, Hillsboro. This offense remains under investigation. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a breaking and entering in the 700 block of Foraker Street, Greenfield. This offense remains under investigation. 

At 6: 25 AM David Dillon, age 63 of Leesburg was westbound on Pausch Road when he swerved to avoid striking a deer and struck a mailbox. The 1993 Ford she was operating sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

At 7:10 AM Pamela Greco, age 56 of Mt. Orab was eastbound on St Rt 138 when a deer ran into her lane of travel causing her to strike the deer. Greco's 2002 Ford sustained non-functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

April 27, 2008

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a domestic dispute in the 10,000 block of North Shore Drive, Hillsboro. Upon further investigation Richard Schade, age 44 and Patricia Schade, age 47 of Hillsboro was apprehended and charged with domestic violence. 

At 3:15 PM John Jennings, age 38 of Hillsboro was eastbound on St Rt 124 when a deer ran into his lane of travel causing him to strike the deer. Jennings' 2000 Isuzu sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a theft on South High Street, Mowrystown. This offense remains under investigation. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a domestic dispute in the 13,000 block of Barrett Mill Road, Hillsboro. Upon further investigation John Holley, age 46 of Bainbridge, was apprehended and charged with domestic violence. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a breaking and entering in the 12,000 block of US 50, Hillsboro. This offense remains under investigation. 

April 26, 2008

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a domestic dispute in the 200 block of Sycamore Street, Lynchburg. Upon further investigation Caleb Polston, age 24 of Lynchburg was apprehended and charged with domestic violence. Michael Nickell, age 24 of Lynchburg was apprehended and charged with disorderly conduct. 

At 3:00 PM Stacey Blevins, age 48 of Hillsboro was northbound on Buford Bardwell Road when a deer ran into her lane of travel causing her to strike the deer. Blevins' 2004 Chevy sustained non-functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a theft in the 6700 block of Heathermoor Trail, Hillsboro. This offense remains under investigation.

At 11:23 PM Christopher Cox, age 33 of Winchester was southbound on St Rt 136 when a deer ran into his lane of travel causing him to strike the deer. The 2005 Ford he was operating sustained non-functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

At 6:00 AM Brett Miles, age 29 of Hillsboro was westbound on St Rt 124 when a turkey crossed into his lane of travel causing him to strike the turkey. Miles' 1995 Ford sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a theft on Barry Street, Hillsboro. Upon further investigation Barry Turner, age 46 of New Vienna was apprehended and charged with theft. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a burglary in the 2600 block of St Rt 131, Hillsboro. This offense remains under investigation. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of trespassing in the 9800 block of East Deadfall Road, Hillsboro. Upon further investigation Donald R Storer, age 45 of Hillsboro was apprehended and charged with abusing harmful intoxicants. 

April 22, 2008

At 1:06 AM Thomas Hayes III, age 68 of Oberlin was northbound on US 62 when a deer ran into his lane of travel causing him to strike the deer. Hayes' 2005 Chevy sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

At 6:20 AM Michele Arhman, age 47 of Peebles  was westbound on St Rt 124 when a deer ran into her lane of travel causing her to strike the deer. Arhman's 1998 Ford sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a dispute in the 11,000 block of Spruance Road, Hillsboro. Upon further investigation Ashley Maynard, age 19 and Melinda Adams, age 28 of Hillsboro were both charged with disorderly conduct by fighting.

At 5:55 AM Jimmy Roberts, age 52 of Hillsboro was northbound on St Rt 753 when a deer ran into his lane of travel causing him to strike the deer. Roberts' 2002 Chevy sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of threats made to a resident in the 6700 block of Tolle Road, Hillsboro. Upon further investigation Casey Patton, age 22 of Hillsboro was charged with menacing.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a domestic dispute in the 9900 block of Hardins Creek Road, Leesburg. Upon further investigation Carl Rose, age 36 of Leesburg, was apprehended and charged with domestic violence. 

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a domestic dispute in the 7000 block of Roush Road, Hillsboro. Upon further investigation Kenner J. Nichols, age 33 of Hillsboro, was apprehended and charged with domestic violence.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a theft in the 12,000 block of Lovers Lane, Greenfield. This offense remains under investigation.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a theft in the 4500 block of Milburn Road, Hillsboro. This offense remains under investigation. 

At 6:25 AM James Davis, age 27 of West Union was eastbound on St Rt 124 when he failed to negotiate curve and went off the right side of the roadway striking a residence. Davis' 2002 Pontiac sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported. Davis was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of  a burglary in the 1800 block of Kay Road, Sardinia. This offense remains under investigation. 

At 4:49 AM Lloyd Smith, age 26 of Bidwell, was eastbound on St Rt 28 when he fell asleep and went off the left side of the roadway striking an electric pole and coming to rest in a small creek. Smith's 1988 Lincoln sustained severe damage. Smith was transported to the Greenfield Area Medical Center by the Leesburg Life Squad.

At 3:12 PM Lawrence Poston, age 70 of Hillsboro was eastbound on New Market Road when he stated that he was not paying attention and lost control going off the right side of the roadway then overcorrecting and went off the left side of the roadway causing property damage to a residence. Poston's 1992 Lincoln sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of a domestic in the 6500 block of McCoppin Mill Road, Hillsboro. Upon further investigation Delmar Ross, age 39 of Hillsboro was apprehended and charged with domestic menacing.

At 1:17 PM Mary McFarland, age 18 of Hillsboro was westbound on St Rt 321 when he attempted to make a left turn onto Bells Run Road and went off the right side into the ditch. McFarland's 1995 Ford sustained no damage. No injuries were reported. McFarland was cited for failure to maintain control.

At 6:42 AM Dianne Hopkins, age 56 of Hillsboro was eastbound on St Rt 124 when a deer ran into her lane of travel causing her to strike the deer. Hopkins' 2005 Mazda sustained non-functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

At 9:24 AM Greg Martin, age 37 of Hillsboro was westbound on Fair Ridge Road when he lost control going off the right side striking a mailbox and ditch. Martin's 1993 Toyota sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported. Martin was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.

At 9:45 PM Elizabeth Floyd, age 38 of Greenfield was eastbound on St Rt 28 when a deer ran into her lane of travel causing her to strike the deer. Floyd's 2004 Chevy sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

An investigation was initiated upon the report of an attempted breaking and entering in the 9000 block of Black Rabbit Road, Leesburg. This offense remains under investigation. 

At 3:20 PM Michael Daugherty, age 41 of Greenfield was westbound on Petersburg Road he swerved to avoid striking another vehicle that was traveling eastbound and went left of center. Daugherty went off the  roadway striking the ditch. Daugherty's 2002 Chevy sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

At 8:48 PM Britteny Livingston, age 21 of Sabina was westbound on St Rt 28 when a deer ran into her lane of travel causing her to strike the deer. Livingston's 2007 Chevy sustained non-functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

At 4:00 AM Joseph Quigley, age 44 of New Vienna was westbound on US 50 when he lost control on the ice covered roads going off the left side of the roadway striking a mailbox and business sign. Quigley's 2000 Ford sustained non-functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

At 5:24 AM Julie Massie, age 21 of Greenfield was northbound on St Rt 41 when she lost control on the ice covered road going off the left side of the roadway striking an embankment then the ditch. At 1:28 AM Keith Weinrich, age 22 of Greenfield was northbound on St Rt 73 when he swerved to avoid striking a deer and went off the right side of the roadway into the ditch. The 2003 Honda he was operating sustained disabling damage. No injuries were reported. Weinrich was cited for failure to maintain control.

At 6:45 PM Catherine Chain, age 18 of Hillsboro was northbound on Mad River Road when she failed to stop at a stop sign causing her to strike another vehicle driven by Dawn Courtney, age 38 of Burlington, Kentucky who was traveling westbound on US 50. Chain's 1995 Honda and Courtney's 2004 GMC both sustained disabling damage. Chain and an occupant in Courtney's vehicle were transported to the Highland District Hospital by the Hillsboro Life Squad. Chain was cited for failure to yield right of way at stop sign.  

At 9:04 AM Albert Mantz, age 56 of Hillsboro was southbound on St Rt 41 when a deer ran into his lane of travel causing him to strike the deer. Mantz's 1996 Chevy sustained disabling damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

At 10:07 Jeanne Wilkerson, age 76 of Hillsboro was eastbound on St Rt 138 when she lost control on the snow covered roads going off the right side of the roadway into the ditch. Wilkerson's 2005 Chevy sustained disabling damage. no injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

At 10:23 AM Rita King, age 52 of Greenfield was eastbound on St Rt 28 when she lost control on the snow covered roads causing her to go left of center and striking a guardrail. King's 2005 Ford sustained disabling damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

At 10:44 AM Jonathan Lawinsky, age 31 of Hillsboro was eastbound on US 50 coming around a slight curve when he lost control on the snow covered roads and slid sideways into the path of a vehicle driven by Sara Hanks, age 44 of West Chester who was traveling westbound.  Lawinsky's 1987 Dodge and Hanks' 2008 Ford both sustained disabling damage. Both driver's were transported to the Highland District Hospital by the Hillsboro Life Squad. No citations were issued. 

At 11:00 AM Amanda Hoffer, age 19 of Otway was northbound on St Rt 73 when she lost control on the snow covered roadway going off the left side and striking a fence. The 2001 Ford she was operating sustained functional damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

At 11:24 AM Debbie Botts, age 34 of Hillsboro was northbound on Mowrystown-Sardinia Road when she lost control on the snow covered roads going off the right side striking the ditch. Botts' 2005 Mitsubishi sustained disabling damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

At 11:55 AM Sarah Beeler, age 18 of Wyoming was eastbound on US 50 when she lost control on the snow covered roadway and slid sideways into the path of a vehicle driven by Seth Coyle, age 28 of Lynchburg who was traveling westbound. Beeler's 1996 Toyota and Coyle's 2005 Ford both sustained disabling damage. No citations were issued.

At 5:49 AM Brandy Kibbey, age 28 of Highland was southbound on St Rt 72 when she lost control of her vehicle on the ice covered roadway going off the left side of the roadway and rolling onto it's top. Kibbey's 2001 Ford sustained severe damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

At 5:55 AM Stephanie Wright, age 36 of Hillsboro was westbound on St Rt 124  when she attempted to brake for another vehicle and lost control on the ice covered roadway going off the right side of the roadway striking a fence post. The 2000 Volkswagon she was operating sustained disabling damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

At 6:48 AM  Monique Strickland, age 22 of Batavia was eastbound on US 50 when she lost control on the wet roadway going off the left side of the roadway striking a fence coming to rest in a field. Strickland's 2004 Honda sustained disabling damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. 

At 3:01 PM Norma Walker, age 45 of Hillsboro was westbound on US 50 when she lost control and went off the left side of the roadway striking a mailbox and continuing through a ditch and crossing two driveways. Walker's 1996 Mercury sustained severe damage. Walker was transported to Highland District Hospital by the Hillsboro Life Squad. 

At 10:20 PM Brandon Gibson, age 33 of Leesburg was northbound on St Rt 771 when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control going off the left side and down an embankment striking a culvert. Gibson was cited for failure to maintain control.
